MECHANICAL PEELER
Mechanical peeling means:
- Tomato scalding in hot water.
- Superficial cut of the tomato peel and
- Peel removal by delicate mechanical action.

RELIABILITY:
Its simple construction drawing, user friendliness and extensively tested materials allow the SAVI mechanical peeler to work non-stop throughout the whole working season, without extra-ordinary maintenance interventions.

FINAL PRODUCT QUALITY:
The mechanical action of the SAVI peeler, unlike other systems currently in use, does not remove the "velvet"-like thin coat of pulp, rich in pectin, connecting peel to the fibrous tissue. In this way, the final product preserves all its organoleptic characteristics, as well as aroma and colour.

SAVING IN PROCESSING:
The reliability of long tested equipment and low energy consumption allow the cut-down of running costs and a saving which is by far unparalleled by any other peeling system available today.
